Anti-gridlock program launched in Valley

first_imgSHERMAN OAKS – City crews began ticketing and towing illegally parked vehicles this morning as Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced the expansion of the Anti-Gridlock Tiger Team program. Five Department of Transportation officers and three tow-trucks will patrol an 8.5-mile stretch of Ventura Boulevard, between the 405 Freeway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, from 6-9 a.m. weekdays, Villaraigosa said during a news conference.
