If you have sports news send it to [email protected] Wellington youth wrestlers qualify six:Wrestling may be over on the high school level, but the Wellington Youth Wrestling program is involved with its biggest time of the year. Six local youth wrestlers are going to the Kansas Kids State Championship at the Expocentre in Topeka on March 28 to March 30.The boys qualified after placing in the top four at the district tournament held in Winfield this past weekend.Those Wellington winners are:•True DeJarnett, who finished third;•Kyler Henry, third;•Seth Brown, fourth;•Dylan Ferguson, fourth;•Andrew Pelkey, second;•Tyson Hodson, second.There were 11 wrestlers competing Saturday in Winfield.•••••On tap for today and tomorrow:As mentioned before, the varsity baseball and softball games have been postponed in Rose Hill for today and will be played tomorrow at the same time.Don’t forget the Wellington High School tennis season starts Tuesday with the only time the Crusaders will be competing at home at 3 p.m. at the tennis court complex at Sellers Park.Those competing include: Augusta, El Dorado, Goddard Eisenhower, Kingman and Wellington.
