Up next, the band gears up for their inaugural Wave Spell Live festival from August 16th to 19th. Wave Spell will host four days of music across three stages, with the festival taking over the entirety of Belden Town, California, a town with a population of seven. As explained by the promoters, for the event, Wave Spell will rent the entire town for the event—the town’s residents will leave the site, meaning there will be absolutely no noise ordinances or curfews and the festival can go as late as it wants and be as loud as it wants. For this unique West Coast music festival, STS9 is slated to perform nine sets. The group will also host a headlining performance from BAAD Quartet, a supergroup composed of Dom Lalli (Big Gigantic), Alana Rocklin (STS9), Adam Deitch (Lettuce/Break Science), and Borahm Lee (Pretty Lights Live/Break Science), in addition to sets from David Phipps (solo), Zach Velmer, eDIT (Glitch Mob), Ooah (Glitch Mob), SunSquabi (two nights), Manic Focus, Charlesthefirst (two nights), Michal Menert, Antennae, Maddy O’Neal (two nights), Yak Attack (two nights), An-Ten-Nae, Chris Karns (Pretty Lights Live), and many more.
